My girl and her cat

This is one of my favorites photos of my oldest daughter Helena and grandma's cat. If it was her choice, we would live on a farm and she would take care of all of the farm animals. Hmmmm.......I think I will pass on that one for now.

If you are ever lucky enough to visit Grand Marais Minnesota you will love it. It is located on beautiful Lake Superior. The travel on the North Shore from Duluth to Grand Marais is a treat! You friendly people you meet will most likely be wearing Birkenstocks or Mukluks in the winter. You can walk around town and shop in these fantastic little shops and let your kids pick out agates.

Look at this cute soon to be 6 year old! Don't you just love his eyes?
